I actually have more traffic to my websites than all but an elite few with more than 2 million views last month (not counting several million on my Facebook pages). But despite having more traffic than most, I’m always in the market for websites with more!
And more importantly I’m always trying to figure out how to increase the traffic to my existing sites.
The bad news there isn’t really a magic bullet. The good news is that there are some tried and true solutions that really work.
As you’ll see in my very quick video John Thornhill not only covers all of them but he shows you how he’s implemented them on his own websites and in his own various internet accounts.

Get Started with the Product Launch Center
Although only a small percentage of my business comes from typical “internet marketing” related product sales, internet marketing is a very useful line of business for me. The challenge everyone faces at the beginning is 1) not having a product to promote 2) not having an email list to promote to 3) not having any partners who will promote your product.
In this short video I explain the strategy I used to “break in” to the internet marketing space.

]]>I’ve been successful doing that as an individual but like any good opportunity, it doesn’t take long before the big boys jump on board.
That is what Cloud Income Properties is doing.
Cloud understand there is a lot of money to be made by investing in online businesses. Their model is to buy up internet businesses and then offer those businesses to investors in creative ways.
For example, a lot of people would like to see the annual returns that a website business can offer but they have no interest in actually operating a website themselves. Cloud Income Properties will do that for them.
Some investors may not want to actually own a business at all. They would prefer to just buy-in as if the online businesses were part of a mutual fund. That is a model Cloud is going to offer as well.
Cloud just announced a merger with an investment company called Stuart King Capital. This merger will provide Cloud with the resources it needs to go public where it can raise capital to significantly ramp up its offerings of web businesses to investors. Here’s the press release.
The merger will be completed on December 19, 2014. Those of you who would like to get in on the ground floor of this opportunity prior to merger and thus prior to the Initial Public Offering (IPO), should contact myself or David Koons President, COO, Founder Cloud Income Properties Inc. 877-673-0194 [email protected]
The company will go public early in 2015 and you will be able to by shares on the public market at that time but who knows what the price will be then.
Others may be interested in some of the unique offerings of online businesses that Cloud provides. Because of their stringent vetting process and management services, Cloud is the safest place to buy into an online business. This is particularly true if you don’t want to manage it yourself, or want some time to learn the business before you take over the reigns.
If that’s you, check out their website here.

]]>The post Should You Buy a Social Network Services Website? appeared first on Jeff Hunt - The Website Investor.
]]>The business model is:
Most of these websites are NOT legitimate.
How do you tell whether they are on the up and up?
The business model, however, is sound and profitable. There are occasionally legitimate services businesses for sale in the social networking space. And of course there are many other kinds of online services websites for sale such as graphics designs, business forms design, website creation, etc.
If you keep your eye on new social platforms that are taking off, you are more likely to find something that will be successful. What is the next Pinterest or Tumblr? Could you replicate a “Facebook Like” service for the next rising social network star? The good news is that these service businesses are inexpensive and quick to setup.
The Ethical Question
Do you really want to be in a business that provides fake likes or re-tweets? One school of thought is that if you are being honest in the description of what you are selling, and it isn’t implicitly dishonest or immoral, then it is fair game.
Ultimately though, the most satisfying and sustainable businesses are those that offer real value to customers and don’t simply manipulate SEO loopholes.
Content creation, design, and transaction processing are all high value, high profit website services businesses that will have more staying power than social network signal providers.
Tip
To find out what services people need and are paying for right now, visit freelancer sites like odesk.com, elance.com and freelancer.com and browse jobs/projects by category. Set up searches for websites for sale in the categories where there is high freelancer demand or high prices per project.

]]>The post The February 2014 NAMS Training Event in Atlanta appeared first on Jeff Hunt - The Website Investor.
]]>I got the opportunity to have a chapter in New York Times best selling author, Joel Comm’s next book.
I spent 45 minutes shooting the breeze with Jason Fladlien, CEO of Rapid Crush Inc. who led the affiliate marketing world last year with $4.5 million in sales.
The strategy for growing my online business became very clear and the partners to make that growth happen were all right there at NAMS.
After teaching about Google News in a NAMS training webinar, David Perdew, founder and CEO of the NAMS system snagged me and without any arm twisting at all started to integrate me into the NAMS family.
This is the closest, most talented group of internet marketers in the industry.
I’ve been to a lot of conferences and events but I’ve never seen a more tight knit group of business people than the group at NAMS. They act like they are at a family reunion. The event happens twice a year and 60 to 70% of the attendees are addicts who keep coming back every 6 months for more.
More than that, these are good people. Most of them seem very committed to a very strong set of values. This was very important to me. I want to partner with people who care about customers, who are picky about what they do and how they do it, who are fundamentally moral and ethical people.
Plus I learned a heck of a lot about how to make money online. Signup for the next event here. It is $500 off until February 16th I believe.
About 300 people attended the event in Atlanta.
Is anybody listening?
Joel Comm and I doing the Bill Clinton knuckle stance.
Debbie O’Grady figured out a way to make about $600 bucks, mostly cash, in real time from people at the conference who wanted a copy of the notes she took in the Advanced Mastermind group. I saved 20 bucks because I attended the mastermind and took my own notes!

]]>No.
I could ask what do I want to achieve or accomplish, what do I want to do or change or affect, or what are my most important goals or plans?
But who you want to be gets at the essence of life purpose. I created this short video to try to capture who I really want to be.
Having done this I can commend it to everyone. Why is this exercise so highly recommended? Because it is transformational. Deciding, then remembering, then acting out who you want to be becomes the foundation for all of your decisions, big and small.
By the way, this is not who I currently am all the time, instead it is who I will be.
How about you?

]]>Wolverine is kind of ugly, some might say more than kind a’ ugly. He lacks polish and he probably smells like a wolverine.
But he makes up for it with great big muscles and the cool blades that come out of his fists and more attitude than you can shake a stick at.
Most of us internet marketers can’t get by with ugly.
I might be able to hide my face by sitting behind my computer but I can’t hide everything.
I need something with a little style and pizazz just to break even.
That’s why I bought my copy of OptimizePress 2.0 first thing this morning.
https://www.heckyeah.org/see/optimizepress
There are some Wolverine folks out there with ugly sites who might find a way to overcome the odds.
And there are a lot more sites that are kind of so so. But there are only a very few that have that really refined, professional look that goes a long way toward solid credibility.
That’s where I would like to get to but I need a lot of help in the “style” category.
Check it out for yourself.
https://www.heckyeah.org/see/optimizepress
Kind regards,
Jeff Hunt
I’m happy to sell OptimizePress and get a commission for doing so because there is no better theme for marketers available anywhere.

]]>I’m not down on myself and have no plans to go jumping off cliffs this weekend.
But there are just a few things in life I’m just not that great at.
And I’m not just talking about astro-physics and cake decorating.
I’m talking about stuff that would be really be handy to be able to do in these cyber markets I keep tromping around in.
Like generating a website that looks truly pro-fesh-in-ahhhl, even compared to the big boy sites. I spend hours on mine sometimes and they just come out cheesy.
Like being able to set up a sales page with the flourish of a mouse and a few well placed key strokes.
Like creating membership areas where I can offer protected content only available to people who have purchased a membership. Well maybe I knew I could figure that one out but making it happen was not so simple.
Like having multiple designs of pages that I could test against one another with the flip of a switch.
Like being able to do all these beautiful things with a single piece of software.
And then I stumbled across the answer https://www.heckyeah.org/see/optimizepress
It did all those things and it did a lot more and woke me up to a lot of internet tools and methods I hadn’t even been considering.
But that was just the first version of Optimize Press, which by the way, without exaggeration is probably the most popular internet marketing tool ever launched.
In the next few hours version 2.0 is rolling out. I watched this video and I plan to be at the very front of the line for this one.
https://www.heckyeah.org/see/optimizepress
I own version 1.0 and will soon own version 2.0 so I am pleased to be an affiliate of this product and receive commissions from this very worthy product.
